Mom took me to the hospital again today so Patrick could go to work - Monday is meetings day. We got to the ATC and I had a surprise pentamadine day! Which sucks because it always makes me sick. It's to prevent some specific kind of pneumonia that transplant people often get, though I didn't get it last time and I'm not sure if it's because of the medicine or if I was healthy.
We went to Target after the hospital to get me some chicken broth and more juice and bandaids, since we'd run out, and a little boy saw me and shouted "it's a monster!" So I wiggled my fingers at him. Apparently even polka dot hats don't take away from the scariness of the mask.
The HGS board meeting was tonight and Tim was nice enough to skype me in so I could listen to people complain about change for an hour and then watch them eat cake balls without me. It was nice to know what's going on though, and that I haven't missed a bunch since I haven't gone to a meeting since January, and even then I was late because I got lost and went to the wrong house.
I must admit, I couldn't help but smile when I imagined you wiggling your fingers at the little boy. Hahaha
ReplyDeleteI still think you should draw scary faces on your masks. Or maybe happy faces. Or both!
